Delivery Driver Robbed in Freeport, Police Seeking 3 Men

Freeport, NY - March 17th, 2014 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on March 16, 2014 at 10:00 pm in Freeport.

According to detectives, while making a food delivery for Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant, the 39 year old male victim, while in the lobby of 150 Smith Street, was approached by three male subjects who had their faces covered by masks. One of the subjects withdrew a small wooden bat and struck the victim in the face. After going through the victim’s pockets, the subjects removed an undisclosed amount of cash and his wallet. They then fled the apartment building through the front door in an unknown direction.

The victim, who sustained pain and swelling to his face, refused medical attention. He was unable to further describe the subjects.
