Woman Arrested for Fraud and Larceny in Cedarhurst

Cedarhurst, NY - March 16, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau, Crimes Against Property reports the arrest of a Brooklyn woman for Grand Larceny on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 2:50 A.M. in Cedarhurst.
 
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, the defendant Leslie Vega, 46, of East 85th Street while employed at AHRC located at 1080 Peninsula Boulevard, Woodmere, between November 12, 2012 and November 17, 2012 fraudulently withdrew funds from multiple TD Banks belonging to group home members.  The defendant Leslie Vega caused TD Bank a loss in excess of $4,000.  Vega was arrested at Kings County Criminal Court where she was being arraigned on an unrelated charge.
 
Leslie Vega is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument 2nd degree and Scheme to Defraud 1st degree and will be arraigned on Monday, March 16, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
