West Islip, NY - March 13th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the men who stole money from a gas station in West Islip.

Two men entered Exxon, located at 570 Sunrise Highway, on February 20 at 2 a.m. One man, who was armed with a handgun, ordered an employee to hand over cash. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands. The two men then fled in a vehicle described as a gray or a light blue SUV.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
