Islip Town Councilman Steve Flotteron has partnered with NYS Governor Cuomo and local fire departments, to present two invaluable, severe weather emergency training programs open to the general public this month.

Islip, NY - March 10, 2017 - Islip Town Councilman Steve Flotteron has partnered with NYS Governor Cuomo and local fire departments, to present two invaluable, severe weather emergency training programs open to the general public this month. The training programs, offer residents important life-saving tips and tools to protect themselves, their families and their neighbors in the event of a severe weather emergency. 

The Councilman, together with NYS and the Bay Shore Lions, will conduct a Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program Monday, March 20th at 7 pm. at the Bay Shore Fire House.  A second program has been scheduled in partnership with the Women of West Islip for Monday, March 27th at 7 pm. at the West Islip Fire House.
