"Flash Flood Watch" ...Flash Flood Watch in effect from midnight EDT tonight through Monday morning... The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a * Flash Flood Watch for portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following areas, in northeast New Jersey, eastern Bergen, eastern Essex, eastern Passaic, eastern Union, Hudson, western Bergen, western Essex, western Passaic, and western Union. In southeast New York, Bronx, Kings (brooklyn), New York (manhattan), northern Nassau, northern Queens, northwestern Suffolk, Orange, Richmond (staten island), Rockland, southern Nassau, southern Queens, southern Westchester, and southwestern Suffolk. * From midnight EDT tonight through Monday morning * an area of low pressure will develop along a frontal boundary to our south and pass just south and east of Long Island. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches an hour are possible and may lead to flash flooding the New York City Metro and surrounding areas. Flash flooding will also be possible for portions of the lower Hudson Valley. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Four Teens Arrested in Glen Cove for Assault After Large Altercation

Glen Cove, NY - March 10th, 2014 - Third Squad detectives report the arrests of four Glen Cove men for assault that occurred in Glenwood Landing on Saturday, 03/08/14 at 10:50 P.M.

According to detectives, Artan Berisha, 16, Adrian Berisha, 16, both of 10 Locust St., Elijah Watson, 17, of 10 Matthew Heights, and Ralik Jackson, 16, of 19 Putnam Ave., were involved in a physical altercation with several male victims, ages 17-20, on Rams Hill Rd./Glenwood Landing.

Victim #1 and Victim #2 sustained lacerations and contusions to the face and refused medical attention. Glenwood Fire Department Ambulance transported Victim #3, who suffered a seizure and multiple cervical and facial fractures, to a local hospital where he has been admitted.

Third Squad detectives arrested the defendants on Sunday, 03/09/14 at their residences. Artan and Adrian Berisha, Watson and Jackson are each being charged with Gang Assault 1st Degree and Assault 2nd Degree.  Artan and Adrian are additionally being charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Assault 3rd Degree.  All defendants will be arraigned on Monday, 03/10/14 in First District Court, Hempstead.
