Long Beach, NY - March 8, 2017 - The Arson Bomb Squad is investigating a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, March 08, 2017 at 6:12 am in Long Beach.

According to detectives, 911 received a call for a fire at 14 W. Walnut Street. The Long Beach Fire Department arrived and found the premise to be unoccupied. Long Beach Fire Department extinguished the fire with extensive damage to the home.   An investigation by detectives and the Nassau County Fire Marshal determined the fire originated on the first floor and was intentionally set.
