Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimates that one half to one inch of rain has already fallen, and that additional rainfall of up to one half inch is likely. * Some locations that could experience flooding include... Suffolk County Crime Stoppers: Man Wanted for Huntington Station Assault

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who assaulted another man in Huntington Station last month.

Huntington Station, NY - March 7th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who assaulted another man in Huntington Station last month.

A man was walking on West 11th Street and 5th Avenue when he was approached by a man who struck the victim in the face causing the victim to strike his head on the ground on February 19 at approximately 12:35 p.m. The victim was transported to Huntington Hospital for surgery for a brain bleed.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing black pants and blue sneakers.


Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
