Balwin, NY - March 1, 2015 - Baldwin Junior Troop # 2144 earned their Business Owner Badge at Rockville Centre Lanes. Scouts learned the basics of operating a bowling business including management, mechanics, food, marketing, networking and customer service.
They discussed the key elements of great customer service and put their skills to the test by getting behind the counter to roleplay customer and employee.
Lastly, scouts conducted consumer research by creating a five question survey about their customer experience. In the spirit of entrepreneurship, the troop sold Girl Scout cookies to patrons before and after the business program.
