Update - January 18th, 2015 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of defendant Denis Alvarado, 29, of Jackson Street, Hempstead for the above crime.  The defendant is being charged with 6 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and will be arraigned on Monday, January 19, 2015 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
Williston Park, NY - March 2nd, 2014 - The Third Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, March 02, 2014 at 7:00 am in Williston Park.
 
According to detectives, a 59 year old female worker had noticed that an unknown person(s) entered the St. Aidan’s Church between 8:45 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 and 7:00 am Sunday, March 02, 2014 and removed a large screen Samsung television. Third Precinct Police Officers responded to investigate and it was determined that an unknown person(s) did pry open the rear door and removed the television from the alter area. The value is undetermined.
