Woman Critically Injured in North Babylon Shooting

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting in North Babylon that critically injured a Wyandanch woman early Saturday morning.

North Babylon, NY - March 1st, 2015 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting in North Babylon that critically injured a Wyandanch woman early Saturday morning.
 
Antonia Brown was seated in a passenger seat of a 2007 Toyota Scion TC that was parked in front of 107 Governor Ave. when a person fired multiple shots into the vehicle.
 
Brown, 22, of 31st Street, was struck multiple times in the torso and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she was listed in critical condition. No other occupants in the vehicle were injured.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
