Man Wanted for Attempting to Steal 55" TV
Setauket, NY - February 27, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a television from a Setauket store last month.
A man attempted to steal a 55-inch Vizio flat-panel television from Walmart, located at 3990 Nesconset Highway, on January 4, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. When confronted by a store employee, the man fled in a waiting white Mitsubishi Galant without the television.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
