Chocolate World Expo Long Island to Host 3rd Annual Food Drive to Support L.I. Cares, Inc.

Garden City, NY - February 25, 2014 - Long Island Cares, Inc. - The Harry Chapin Food Bank has been invited back to collect food donations at the ever popular 3rd Annual Chocolate World Expo which will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the spectacular Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City.
 
Chocolate World Expo, also known as "CWE," features tastings and sales of gourmet chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, cheeses, gelato, wines and much more! Best of all, admission to CWE includes full access to the Museum's exhibits and free entry to the Nassau County Fire Fighters Museum. As an added bonus there will be performances by Mentalist Marc Salem and demos by Celebrity Chef Barret Beyer (from Hell's Kitchen Season 11) and Chef Larry Rosenberg (contributing author to Martha Stewart's Wedding Book).
 
All attendees are being asked to bring 2 or more non-perishable food items for Long Island Cares. A Long Island Cares truck will be conveniently parked outside for donation drop off prior to entering CWE. To date, the participating attendees have been able to supply 1,840 meals to families in need on Long Island, through their food and monetary donations.
 
In addition to the Food Drive, Long Island Cares, Inc. will have an information booth set up inside the event to answer questions about our many programs and services, sign up volunteers, and will also be selling Harry Chapin CD's and t-shirts.
 
Whether you're looking for bon-bons or brownies - a fountain treat or fabulous chocolate gifts - you'll find it at Chocolate World Expo on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, next to Nassau Community College.
