Snow may be heavy at times late tonight through Thursday morning...before tapering off Thursday evening. * Impacts...hazardous travel conditions are expected tonight and Thursday due to reduced visibilities...icy roads and significant snow accumulations. * Visibilities...one quarter to one half mile at times. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. Nassau Crime Stoppers Searching for Shoplifter

A man is wanted for stealing electronics from a Walmart.

Uniondale, NY - February 21, 2014 - Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking public’s help in locating the pictured subject, Dean Andrea, in connection with a Robbery which occurred in Uniondale, NY. 
 
On Saturday, February 15, 2014, at approximately 12:10 PM, the suspect was observed inside of Wal-Mart located at 1123 Jerusalem Avenue, Uniondale. While present in the store the subject did steal a pair of Beats Headphones valued at $217.20, and a Tom-Tom GPS valued at $184.63 and exited the store passing all points of purchase without paying for the items. When approached by store security, the subject physically forced his way out of the store. The subject fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
