Man Robs East Islip Pharmacy

East Islip, NY - February 19, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy in East Islip yesterday.
 
A man armed with a gun entered Country Village Pharmacy, located at 242 East Main St., and announced a robbery and demanded prescription medication at approximately 3:55 p.m. The employees complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of medication. The employees were not injured.
 
The suspect was described as white, approximately 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin mustache. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark-hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana around the lower part of his face.
