Suspect Wanted for Attempting to Rob N. New Hyde Park Bank

N. New Hyde Park, NY - February 18th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau reports the details of an attempted bank robbery that occurred in N. New Hyde Park on Tuesday, 02/17/15 at 5:58 P.M.
 
According to detectives, a male subject entered Chase Bank located at 350 Hillside Ave. and passed a demand note to the teller. The teller did not immediately respond to the demand note which caused the subject to flee without obtaining any proceeds. The subject was last seen walking eastbound on Hillside Ave. There were five employees and one customer present in the bank at the time of the robbery.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is described as a male white, believed to be in his 40’s, 5’8” tall, wearing a powder blue knit hat, sunglasses, gray sweatshirt, and black and red plaid jacket.
