North New Hyde Park, NY - February 17th, 2015 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1:35 am in North New Hyde Park.
According to detectives, a 40 year old male victim was working at the Grab and Go located at 2062 Lakeville Road when an unknown subject entered the store told the victim he had a gun (none displayed) and demanded money. The victim complied and the subject fled the scene on foot eastbound onto Union Boulevard.
Proceeds were an undetermined amount of US currency. There were no report injuries. The subject is described as a male white wearing blue jeans a dark colored jacket, white gloves and a dark colored scarf covering his face.
