Nassau County, NY - February 5, 2015 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano invites residents to take advantage of discounts offered by the Cradle of Aviation Museum, American Museum of Armor and Garvies Point Museum and Preserve this Winter Recess, from February 14th through February 21st.
The Cradle of Aviation offers residents 50% off children’s admission for movie tickets at the IMAX Giant Screen Dome Theater, the Museum and the JetBlue Sky Theater Planetarium. The Museum of American Armor, located at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, offers 50% off museum suggested children’s admission. The Museum is a living tribute to every American who has worn the uniform and those who continue to defend our nation today. Garvies Point Museum and Preserve in Glen Cove offers residents of all ages a week of crafts and activities. All crafts require $5.00 material fee except on Tuesday, February 17th and Wednesday, February 18th. Proceeds go to the Friends of Garvies Point Museum and Preserve.
