Island Park, NY - January 30th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Queens woman for possessing forged instruments that occurred in Island Park and Oceanside on Thursday, 01/29/15 at 1:00 P.M. and 1:45 P.M., respectively.
According to detectives, Shanea Clarke, 27, of 130th Street, South Ozone Park, entered Chase Bank located at 212 Long Beach Rd. and then the Chase Bank located at 3285 Long Beach Rd., attempting to cash fraudulent checks in excess of $900.
Detectives arrested the defendant at 3285 Long Beach Rd. a short time later. Clarke is being charged with two counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, 01/30/15 in First District Court, Hempstead.
