Snow Totals for Long Island: Juno Leaves Almost Two Feet of Snow from Nassau to the East End

Snow is still falling this morning, adding to the almost two feet of snow Long Island experienced during the night!

Long Islanders headed to sleep last night waiting for Winter Storm Juno to take over during the night and early hours of the morning. As the snow continues to fall, with a blizzard warning still in effect, most will have the pleasure of a snow day today. Before you grab the sleds and snow tubes though, be sure to have your shovels and snow blowers ready, you're going to need them.

According to the National Weather Service, in Nassau County,  Massapequa received over 14 inches of snow, and in Suffolk, Mattitcuk came in with a staggering 24.8 inches as of 7:15 AM this morning.

Nearby in Manhattan's Central Park, 7.8 inches of snowfall was recorded around 7:00 AM this morning, in Jamaica Queens totals of 10.1 inches as of 3:15 AM this morning.
