SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Burglarizing Lake Ronkonkoma Home

Lake Ronkonkoma, NY - January 27th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who burglarized a Lake Ronkonkoma home.

On Sunday, January 12, a burglar kicked down the rear door of a home in Lake Ronkonkoma. When the homeowner’s relative went to check on the house, he found an unknown man inside the home.  A physical altercation ensued and the suspect fled on foot. Two suspects were captured on surveillance video inside the Lake Ronkonkoma home.

One of the suspects is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, with short brown hair. He is approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, approximately 220 pounds and was wearing a black sweatshirt,a black North Face knit hat and jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
