NCPD Crime Alert: Two Men Wanted for Robbing W. Hempstead 711

The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:40 a.m. in West Hempstead.

West Hempstead, NY - January 24th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:40 a.m. in West Hempstead.

According to detectives, two male white subjects entered the 7-11 store,  located at 310 Hempstead Avenue. Subject one, is described as, 5’7” tall, average build, wearing dark clothing, black mask and latex gloves, displayed a semi automatic handgun while standing in front of the counter. Subject two, is described as 5’7” tall, average build, wearing dark clothing, black mask and latex gloves, went behind the counter and demanded the cash from the register. The two female victims complied with the demands and the subjects fled on foot heading northbound on Hempstead Avenue with an unknown amount of U.S. Currency. No injuries were reported.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
