Farmingville, NY- January 23, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used counterfeit money at a store in Farmingville earlier this month.
A woman entered Sally’s Beauty Supply, located at 2320 North Ocean Ave., and used counterfeit money to purchase items on January 14, 2015. The same woman attempted to use counterfeit money later that evening to make a purchase at Hallmark, located at 2324 North Ocean Ave. but was denied a purchase.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
