Nassau County, NY - January 22, 2016 - Due to the impending winter storm, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces the following park closures and program cancellations:
- The Nassau County Aquatic Center will be closing at 12:00 p.m. Saturday and will reopen at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday
- The Nassau County Rifle Range will be closing at 12:00 p.m. Saturday.
- Outdoor Ice Rinks at Grant Park, Christopher Morley Park and Cantiague Park are closed Saturday, all scheduled events are canceled and facilities will reopen Sunday afternoon.
- Tackapausha Museum and Preserve and Garvies Point Museum and Preserve are also closed Saturday.
