Police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the man pictured for questioning. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call 800-220-TIPS.

Sayville, NY - January 18, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who may have information about items stolen from outside a Sayville church last month.

A baby Jesus and lamb statues were stolen from a nativity scene at St. Lawrence Church, located at 240 Montauk Highway, sometime between December 25 and 26. Detectives are looking to speak to the man in the photo below to gather information on this case.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
