Rosedale Woman Arrested for Stealing in Excess of $50K as an Executive Assistant

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Rosedale woman for Grand Larceny that occurred in North New Hyde Park on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 3:35 pm.

Rosalyn Persaud, 34, of Rosedale was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records.

North New Hyde Park, NY - January 16, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Rosedale woman for Grand Larceny that occurred in North New Hyde Park on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 3:35 pm.

According to Crimes Against Property Bureau detectives, between December 1, 2013 through December 11, 2015 the defendant Rosalyn Persaud, 34, of Rosedale, did work as an Executive Assistant for North Shore LIJ Perioperative Services located at 1979 Marcus Avenue and stole in excess of $ 50,000.00 US Dollars. The defendant had access to six JP Morgan corporate credit cards belonging to Northwell Health employees and used four of the corporate cards without permission to make purchases for her own personal use. The defendant Rosalyn Persaud also made false entries into business records documenting the purchases. An investigation led detectives to her residence on January 15, 2016 and placed her into police custody without incident. There were no injuries reported,

Rosalyn Persaud is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, and Falsifying Business Records. She was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
