Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Geenlawn

Greenlawn, NY - January 17, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Greenlawn early this morning.
 
Jose Murillo was walking westbound along Pulaski Road with a group of friends at 2:53 a.m. when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
Murillo, 34, of Huntington Station, was transported via the Greenlawn Fire Department to Huntington Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
 
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
