Gov. Cuomo extends his congratulations to Oscar Nominees.

Albany, NY - January 16, 2014 - “Today the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrated many movies filmed in New York, and I want to congratulate all of the nominees,” said Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. “New York’s media and entertainment industry – as a result of our newly expanded New York State Film Production Tax Credit Program – is experiencing its most active and productive period in history, creating thousands of jobs and generating billions of dollars. I want to encourage future filmmakers to build upon the success of the last few years and expand job opportunities by bringing even more productions to our great state.”
