Police Trying to Identify Oceanside Robber

Oceanside, NY - January 16, 2014 - Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject in connection with a Robbery which occurred in Oceanside, New York. 
 
On Sunday, January 5, 2014, at approximately 4:26 PM, the subject entered Burger King located at 3190 Long Beach Road, Oceanside. While present in the restaurant the subject purchased a hamburger, paying $1.25 for the item. The subject then exited the store, and returned at approximately 4:55 PM with his face covered by a scarf requesting to purchase another hamburger. When the victim opened her cash register the subject simulated having a weapon in his sleeve, made his way to the rear of the counter, and stole $144.00 in assorted US Currency from the register. The subject fled the scene in an unknown direction.
