At around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Suffolk County police responded to a call in Copiague that the body of a man was found behind a dumpster at a parking lot for a business.
Police responded to the scene at 7 Ralph Avenue. The unidentified man was dead and appeared to be a victim of violence.
Police are continuing to investigate the case. The victim has been taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner for an autopsy to be performed.
