SCPD Crime Alert: Brentwood Citibank Robbed

Brentwood, NY - January 11th, 2014 - Suffolk County Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today in Brentwood.
 
A man entered Citibank, located at 710 Suffolk Ave., at approximately 9:20 a.m., approached a teller, and produced a note demanding cash. When the teller did not immediately comply, the suspect went to a second teller and stated that he had a gun and wanted money. The teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The man then fled from the bank.
 
The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 50 to 60-years-old, balding, with a heavy build. He was wearing glasses, jeans, white sneakers, a blue jacket and yellow hooded sweatshirt.
