Man Arrested in Connection with December Robbery
Last month in Rockville Centre two men were accused of robbing a 22-year-old victim. Thomas Scanlan, one of the alleged robbers, was arrested on December 9th, 2013, for the crime, while Christopher Pilato, 25, was arrested January 8th.

On that day the victim met up with the two after arriving in a White Infinity G37. Shortly after he spoke to Scanlan and Pilato who were sitting in a similar vehicle. The conversation escalated and the victim ran. Scanlan and Pilato then attacked him, and took his IPhone and some cash –which was later recovered in a yard.

Scanlan, the East Rockaway resident, was charged with two counts of robbery for the crime. Pilato, of Oceanside, was also charged with two counts of robbery. He was arraigned on January 9th at the First District Court in Hempstead.
