Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individuals who broke into a shed at a park in Sayville last month.

Sayville, NY - January 7th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individuals who broke into a shed at a park in Sayville last month.
 
Between Tuesday, December 23 at 5 p.m. and Monday, December 29 at 12 p.m., an unknown person(s) broke into a shed at the Islip Grange Park located at 10 Broadway Avenue in Sayville. The suspect(s) damaged property from within the shed, broke bottles and dumped garbage across the park’s baseball complex.
 
There have been numerous complaints of youths loitering in the complex and destroying property recently.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
