Valley Stream Cell Phone Store Robbed
Valley Stream, NY - January 7th, 2013 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Robbery which occurred on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 4:53 P.M. in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a male victim, 34, was working at Cellular City, located at 60 E. Merrick Road when a male black, approximately 25 years of age, 6’ tall with a medium build wearing a black hat, black/brown hooded shirt and black gloves entered the store and asked if they had I-phones. When the victim stated yes the suspect produced a small black handgun and demanded money and cell phones. The victim complied giving the suspect an undetermined amount of cash and several cell phones. The suspect told the victim to lie down and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was alone in the store at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
