Shirley, NY - January 6, 2017 - John S. Hobart Elementary School students, staff and the PTO, have partnered with the Blue Star Mothers of America, Chapter 6, Long Island, for a school-wide water bottle collection to help raise funds to pay shipping for care packages for American troops serving overseas. In addition to funding the cost of shipping, students added “thank you” letters for the packages.
