Requisition Number: 30961 Position title: Phlebotomy position in Hamden CT Category: Patient Service Center System City: Hamden State / Province: Connecticut Assigned Shift: one Regular / Temporary: Regular Full-time / Part-time: Full-time Standard Hours: 40.00 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays Qualifications: Our qualifications include: High-school degree or equivalent, as well as Phlebotomy certification (where required) from an accredited agency Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent) Current drivers license with clean driving history Min of 2 yrs of background as a patient service technician/phlebotomist Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws(patients in long term care facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities
