• You must be a LongIsland.com Member. It is free to join.
• You are an authorized representative of a non-profit group or organization.
• The job you are offering is a VOLUNTEER POSITION.
• A valid email address is required.
• If you include your Web site when posting your FREE volunteer job,
  we ask that you return the favor by placing a link back to LongIsland.com
  You can grab the code to become a Member site of LongIsland.com
  or ask your Webmaster to add the link to your organization's Web site.

If you have a temporary position available you may post it here, but it is your responsibility to make sure your information is accurate and up-to-date. Please save the 'thank you' email from us with instructions on how to add a new volunteer job, modify an exisiting job or delete a temporary position.

We also realize that you may be a volunteer for your organization. Please let other members of your organization know how to access the Long Island Volunteer Job board in case changes or updates need to be made.

Applicants can apply for these jobs online via the form on our Web site. Your email address is not viewable to the public. Please make sure the email address you provided is a general address for your organization, not your personal email address. When someone applies for the volunteer job you will receive an email with their contact information -- please check your emails on a regular basis and respond to applicants accordingly.
