Tiedemann’s has been Long Island’s premier scuba diving education facility since it was founded as Underwater Advisors Inc. in 1968. Because using the proper equipment is vital to scuba, Tiedemann’s opened a small retail shop in 1981, which it maintains to help keep scuba accessible and affordable.
