Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Long Road Home Rescue is a non-profit animal organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs find permanent, loving homes. Their dogs come from high kill shelters, are owner surrenders or are strays. Dogs are carefully evaluated by skilled trainers looking for a great overall temperament before they take them in.

Long Road Home is completely foster based and is always in need of more foster parents, volunteers and donations of dog beds, food, leashes, and collars.
