Girl Scouts of Suffolk County offers two beautiful camps: Camp Edey in Bayport and Camp Sobaco in Yaphank.
 
Camp Edey, Bayport (Girls Only):
Campers can enjoy archery, paddle boating, fishing, swimming, field trips, sports, games, and much more. Overnight experiences, Teen-Ventures, a half-day program for campers ages 3-5, and extended care also available.
 
Camp Sobaco, Yaphank (Girls & Boys):
Perfect for siblings to attend together! Located on 42 acres of Pine Barrens on the banks of the Carmans River in Yaphank, Camp Sobaco features archery, field-trips, on-camp adventures, Discovery World STEM Center, hands-on experiments, sports, games and more.
 
Available at Both Camps:
  • Bus Transportation
  • Swimming lessons with Red Cross Learn to Swim certified instructors
  • Horseback Riding – 1 hour riding lesson, includes horse and stable care instruction
