Calverton Executive Airpark is a 2,921 acrea public-owned private-use airport in the hamlet of Calverton, in Riverhead, New York. The Town of Riverhead owns the airport which was formerly the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant – a facility that assembled, tested, refitted and retrofitted Grumman-built jets. The airport offers two asphalt and concrete runways. Most flights taking off in the area do so from near-by Francis S. Gabreski Airport, and is mostly used by the commercial entity Sky Dive Long Island.
