As 2015 rolls in, you should be dancing your way to an even better year. Kick-start the New Year on the right foot with great music and dance entertainment this weekend. The end of the week features entertainment like performances from Weird Science, That 70s Band, Elvis Lives! featuring Elvis tribute artists and others. If you’re ready for some dancing, head over to a black tie swing dance event and a traditional New England barn dance. FRIDAY – JANUARY 2, 2015
Who: Weird Science At The Emporium
Info: Come enjoy Weird Science perform live on stage. The night also features live performances from LI’s best bands.

Info: Enjoy a live performance with That 70s Band!

Who: Elvis Lives! At Patchogue Theatre For The Performing Arts
Info: Take a multi-media musical journey across Elvis’ life! The performance features champions and finalists from Elvis Presley Enterprises’ worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The performance continues through January 4, 2015.

Who: Black Tie Swing Dance At Smithtown Historical Society’s Frank Brush Barn
Info: This annual black tie dance is hosted by Swing Dance Long Island. Beginner lessons are available from 7:30 – 8 p.m. Event includes snacks, refreshments and door prizes.
