Charles Rutenberg Realty has announced that its Oceanside office will be a drop-off site for the United States Marine Corps' "Toys for Tots" program. The office is located at 2848 Long Beach Road.
Brokers, Agents and local residents are urged to bring an unwrapped toy to the office and help make this Christmas season brighter for Long Island's children in need. Toys will be collected until December 14.
Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys each year during the months of October, November and December. The toys are then distributed on Christmas Day to children in need in the community where the campaign is conducted. The program also brings these children a message of hope that will help them become responsible, productive and patriotic citizens.
Charles Rutenberg Realty's participation in Toys for Tots is an example of how the Real Estate firm is involved in the community. It has been working with rockCANroll in collecting non-perishable food items to be distributed to individuals and families in need and other agencies. Last year, in conjunction with NY Heroes Program, the firm collected toys and distributed them to the children at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
