Dr. Thanh Dang Joins Central Veterinary Associates as Associate Doctor

Central Veterinary Associates has announced that Dr. Thanh Dang has joined the hospital as its Associate Doctor.

VALLEY STREAM, NY - Central Veterinary Associates has announced that Dr. Thanh Dang has joined the hospital as its Associate Doctor. As part of a group of 17 doctors and more than 100 support staff members, he will be responsible for providing emergency and critical care for small and exotic animals at Central Veterinary Associates' facility in Valley Stream, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Dr. Dang recently graduated from the Veterinary School at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. While being highly interested in all aspects of small animal medicine, including surgery, he also has a passion for exotics, having done two zoo medicine rotations during his clinical year at the University of Florida and a two-week rotation in aquatic medicine.

He has a Bachelor's degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia. While attending La Salle, he began working as a veterinary assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in College Point in Queens.
