If Thanksgiving dinner has left you stuffed and feeling like you need to work it off, there’s plenty of entertainment available on Long Island to get you off the couch and out the door! On Friday, head over to Ballet Long Island to enjoy its Holiday Princess Tea Party performance. You can also go shopping at the annual Christmas fair held at the Centereach Fire House and enjoy an evening of laughs with the Sandy relief fundraiser event over at YMCA Boulton Center. On Saturday, there are theater performances to enjoy including The Crucible and Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer. During the evening, singles may enjoy a dinner party with Japanese chefs preparing food right in front of the dinner table at Gasho of Japan. For Sunday, take part in a hike at Montauk Point State Park. There’s also a wine tasting and cheese pairing event available and a special event over at Patchogue Theatre For the Performing Arts with psychic Kim Russo and comedian Goumba Johnny. FRIDAY – NOVEMBER 23, 2012

Who: Holiday Princess Tea Party At Ballet Long Island
Info: Live on stage for a ballet performance will be Cinderella, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Sugar Plum Fairy and Santa. This special holiday performance will also include photo ops with the characters and cupcakes, cookies, iced tea, lemonade, coffee and tea will be available.

Who: Holy Cross Lutheran Church Christmas Extravaganza At The Centereach Fire House
Info: This is the 5th annual Christmas fair at the Centereach Fire Department. On Black Friday and over the weekend, everyone has a chance to shop indoors with tons of vendors, food and fun. There will also be raffles and prizes and Christmas trees for sales outside the fair.

Who: Big Laughs In Bay Shore – Hurricane Sandy Relief Fundraiser At YMCA Boulton Center
Info: Enjoy a comedy show that goes to benefit families from the town of Islip affected by Sandy. The show includes three of the funniest comedians in the tri-state, including Dan Naturman, Mike Burton and Brian Cichocki.

SATURDAY – NOVEMBER 24, 2012

Who: The Crucible By Arthur Miller At Bay Street Theatre
Info: Today’s the last showing for the theater production show of The Crucible. This is where the Salem witch trials come to life. A portion of proceeds will also go to Island Harvest to help support Long Islanders affected by Sandy.

Who: Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer At John W. Engeman Theater
Info: The show starts today and continues to run through January 6, 2013. Stop by to enjoy the classic tale of how Rudolph and his red nose help save Christmas for all.

Who: Singles Dinner Party With Japanese Cooking Show At Gasho of Japan
Info: Enjoy a night of making new friends while being entertained by Japanese cooking. The night will start with happy hour introductions.
