When you think of Christmas you think of Christmas trees! Christmas trees are a timeless and practically essential aspect of Christmas here in the United States. Nothing is more beautiful than a tree all decked out with twinkling lights, bright bulbous ornaments and yummy hanging candy canes. They bring families together on Christmas morning, provide passersby a merry sight to see through an open window and awe holiday guests.

Even if you don’t have a tree of your own this year, you can still bask in the beauty of a well-lit up, decorated tree at a Long Island Christmas tree lighting! Public Christmas trees lightings are a great way to soak up the holiday spirit and get people to come together as a community. Though many people enjoy going into New York City to see the big tree lighting in Rockefeller Center, a smaller tree lighting ceremony on Long Island can provide an intimate atmosphere and much less hassle, especially when it comes to travelling.

Check out all of the festive Christmas tree lightings going on this holiday season.
