Several Long Island events are running this weekend complete with a warm breakfast for fundraising purposes. There’s also the chance to experience a one-of-a-kind wine tasting event with Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center. Garvies Point Museum & Preserve is also hosting its annual Thanksgiving Native American Feast. Others delightful happenings this weekend include jazz playing at Smithtown Township Arts Council, Us and Floyd playing at Changing Times Pub and musical performances on theater. Info: Enjoy an evening of jazz improvisation led by jazz pianist Ranny Reeve. Everyone is welcome to bring their own instrument to play or simply stop by to listen as others play.

Who: Us And Floyd Live At Changing Times Pub
Info: If you love Pink Floyd classic songs, don’t miss this. Us and Floyd – New York’s Pink Floyd tribute band will plays live, hitting on some of the favorites from albums, including Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Meddle and more!

Who: Fish & Sips - Long Island Wine Tasting Event At Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center
Info: This is your chance to experience a unique wine tasting event that will include more than 20 local wineries. There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres and more. There’s also the option to add an overnight stay at the waterfront Hyatt East End & Resort Marina with your ticket. Must be 21 years or older to attend.

Who: Menopause The Musical At Patchogue Theatre For The Performing Arts
Info: Enjoy a hilarious musical parody that includes classic tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s. It’s a playoff of what was originally produced by Jeanie Linders. It’s about the celebration of women as four women shop at a lingerie sale with nothing in common but a black lace bra and memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex and more!

Who: Thanksgiving Native American Feast at Garvies Point Museum & Preserve
Info: This event has been held annually for the past 25 years to celebrate northeastern Native American culture. There will be the sampling of native foods, spear throwing, use of the atlatl, face painting, fire making, cooking at the fire, instruction on tool making, pottery making, dugout canoes, nature trails, artifacts and more! It’s a fun outing suitable for the entire family.

Who: 114^th Christmas Fair And Food & Clothing Drive At First Congregational Church
Info: The Christmas Fair will include dinner and feature baked goods, homemade jams, jellies, relishes, pickles, Christmas novelties, fresh fruits, toys, handmade gift items, Chinese auction baskets and more. There will also be a drive to collect food and clothing to help Superstorm Sandy victims. It is accepting food, clothing, blankets, toys, toiletries, diapers, formula, batteries, cleaning supplies and monetary donations.

Who: 42^nd Street Theater Performance At BayWay Arts Center
Info: Enjoy a theatre performance about an understudy chorus girl who is given the spotlight when the leading lady of a Broadway production unexpectedly can’t open the show. The lead actress breaks her ankle, giving the star-struck chorus girl her chance at stardom.  The musical performance includes tap dancing and hit songs, such as “We’re in the Money,” “Shuffle Off to Buffalo” and “Lullaby of Broadway.”

Info: Head over to the Applebee’s in Shirley for a breakfast fundraiser event. Purchase a ticket to enjoy pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and your choice of coffee, tea, juice or soda. Proceeds go to benefit RSVP Animal Welfare & Rescue Group. A Chinese auction will also be held.

Who: Pancake Breakfast at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Huntington Station
Info: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Huntington Station is hosting a pancake breakfast event where proceeds go to benefit St. Peter’s 2013 Costa Rica Mission Team. Breakfast includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, juice, coffee, tea and bacon or sausage. Call the parish office to make reservations.
