Set Your Four-Legged Friends Free to Enjoy Fall at Dog Run Parks on Long Island

Most of Long Island has seen the peak of fall foliage by now, according to the latest Fall Foliage Report for New York. That means park grounds are plentiful of crunchy leaves – something our four-legged friends love!

Head over to one of the many dog run parks on Long Island to let Fido, Spot, Rover, Buddy, Max and the other four-legged friends play freely and run through the leaves!

**Reminder: Dogs are not allowed in Nassau County parks or preserves. Dogs must be on the leash en route to the dog run.**

West Hills Dog Parks

The large dog park for pets 26 lbs and more has an entrance on Sweet Hollow Road, north of the intersection of Old Country Road an Sweet Hollow Road. The small dog park for pets 25 lbs or less is off High Hold Drive.
