Baby’s First Haircut in Time for the Holidays

From Thanksgiving dinner to sitting on Santa’s lap, it’s time to get your little one primed and ready for holiday photos and other holiday get-togethers with friends and family! That means getting baby’s first haircut or a trim for your boy or girl!

If it’s your baby’s first haircut, know that Long Island is home to several baby-friendly hair salons. Yes, they do exist! Baby’s first haircut is a big deal to many parents – just like baby’s first spoon of rice cereal or first independent step towards walking.

You can help ease and enhance the experience of a haircut for your little one (and yourself) with a visit to one of these baby/kid salons. They have the experience, patience and skills to suit this type of clientele. Many of them will also be more than happy to help you preserve that first lock of hair that’s been cut as a keepsake.
