Local Haunted Houses to Get Your Heart Racing

Written by Lyndsay McCabe  |  03. October 2015

Haunted houses have begun to pop up everywhere, from historical buildings to fire departments, and each has something different that makes it special.  Though most people commonly think of monsters, animals, and witches as being scary, you can count on terrifying clowns, ghoulish ghosts, and characters from popular horror films. Be sure to read up on each haunted house and spooky walk so that you know what you are getting into ahead of time, and take recommendations seriously, as many of these events are not appropriate for children unless a kids walk is specifically scheduled.

To make the most of your haunted house experience, many houses are selling tickets in advance online (many for a discounted price) and are also selling fast passes so that you can skip the line and the wait so nothing stands between you and a good scream session!  Bring friends along for a memorable night together - or to use one another as human shields - and you can also benefit from group/family pricing.

Have a screaming good time at these spooky events, only available for a limtied time!
