The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled. * Locations...Fairfield County and New Haven County in southwest Connecticut and western Suffolk County in southeast New York. * Hazard types...periods of snow and blowing snow. * Accumulations...additional snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. * Winds...northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * Visibilities...1 mile or less at times. * Temperatures...around 20. * Timing...this evening. * Impacts...hazardous travel continues. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.
